In addition to the pure operation of the systems, securing ongoing operations is of course also an important aspect for a leading registrar. For this reason, CPS-Datensysteme operates its infrastructure in three German data centres with optimum connectivity and the systems required for data centres, such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with N+1 redundancy (or higher), backup generators, multi-level access controls (manned checkpoints, personnel locks, biometric readers), fire alarm/fire extinguishing systems and multi-component systems for temperature control. The data centres we use are certified in accordance with ISO 22301 and ISO 27001. To prevent failures, all services without exception are operated on RAID systems and additionally backed up by a cold-standby backup system (replica).
All relevant processes and workflows of the company are defined as guidelines. Among other things, response and resolution times are defined for incoming enquiries from the areas of customer service, sales and complaints. The handling and processing of documents in the central document management system is also clearly regulated. Enquiries by email are processed using a ticket system and escalated if necessary. Continuous video surveillance of sensitive company areas, regular data backups, the use of the latest encryption technologies and multi-level authorisation checks protect our company data.
