1997 - 1999
Felix Weigand founds CPS-ComputerService in Neuwied with a focus on "computer systems and EDP systems". The first own web servers take up operation and serve as a basis for webhosting offers.
2000 - 2003
A new chapter of the corporate history commences, symbolised by the name change to CPS-Datensysteme: Registration and administration of domain names with a fully automated software system becomes the company's focus. The area of SSL certificates is developed as a supplementary business field. Reports in the specialist press speed up growth and increase the domain inventory by more than 60%. The domain inventory crosses the mark of 40,000 at the end of 2003.
2004 - 2007
Generation of a new future-oriented domain administration software is completed. The company is converted into a capital company on 01 October 2005. In the following year, ICANN accreditation is completed with success, and expansion of the direct memberships continues. The domain inventory exceeds the mark of 100,000 domain names in December 2006. Accreditations at EURid (.EU), Restena (.LU), NASK (.PL) and SIDN (.NL) are implemented successfully as well.
2008 - 2011
The accreditations of another 12 registration offices, including in Spain and Qatar, are successfully completed. The company moves to its new headquarters in Gilgenborn, Vallendar. As the newly developed software Domain Management Console (DMC) is introduced, the domain inventory first exceeds the mark of 150,000 domain names.
2012 - 2015
The company reaches GlobalSign® Platinum-Partner status. The Domain-Management-Console (DMC) receives the "Hosting & Service Provider Award" twice and makes third place in the Internet Awards 2015 of eco e.V.. Further development of the domain administration software DMC is transferred to newly founded Netzentwickler GmbH.
